"Musharraf Played Hell with Pakistani People"

President Pervez Musharraf is realizing by this time that how terrible it was his slavery under United States & his extreme reliability on his "secret agencies". I am not talking about only Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) because ISI was not the only player on the intelligence ground of Pakistan since 2001. Though other branch secret agencies came forward after Gen. Musharraf took over in 1999, but agencies other than ISI came real extremely active since the Afghanistan war started in 2001 & Pakistan fortunately or unfortunately got involved into George W. Bush's "War on Terrorism".

The present situation briefly is,

The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) has came to the decision after observing for years after 2001 that more or less 400 Pakistani people have been missing since Gen. Musharraf responded Bush's call for 'War on Terrorism'. After getting reported by families of missing people, HRCP has come to the decision that all of these people have been kidnapped or, detained or, taken in as "suspects of terrorism" by several secret agencies. Its believed that after getting under pressure by United States, Pakistani regime decided to make the warlord Bush happy by handing over some "suspects of terrorism" by arresting innocent or irrelevant Pakistanis. This process got accelerated when United States suspected about eagerness of Pakistan in the bloody "War on Terrorism". Notably, secret agents which have been deployed for this nasty business is not likely ISI & these agents have to report to nobody other than President Gen. Pervez Musharraf.

Some of the family members of missing Pakistanis met the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudry for justice at the start of 2007. The Chief Justice heard them & responded by going through enquiries about these missing cases. But he was answered that people who have been held by secret agents are suspects of involvement in Taliban movement in Afghanistan. Iftikhar simply did not believed this cock & bull story and reacted against this nasty involvement of the regime. The only and the only reason behind the suspension of Ifitikhar was his reaction against these unconventional arrests as well as these secret agencies. Iftikhar was suspended by the President Musharraf on 9 March, 2007 and has been insulted & abused constantly (as the image shows that a hand told to be of a secret agent is grasping by the justice's hair) by the regime. Musharraf used secret agents (ISI or other agencies) against Iftikhar and its believed that the present turmoil of Pakistan got initiated by these incidents.

Iftikhar has been resumed in his position of Chief Justice by the uncrushable order of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, but the missing cases of 400 people still have no explanation. According to the regime officials informed the court, 56 individuals on the HRCP list of 136 missings had been traced. Of them, 45 had been freed, three were under trial, five under custody, one detained under the Security of Pakistan Act, one was an army deserter and one had been convicted. However, according to Brigadier Cheema, other people were still ‘untraced’.

I truly feel weird that it can really happen. How it can justified that you will handover your innocent countrymen to foreign regimes whoever it is, to just make them happy and to show them that you are in their side. Its fully proved that Musharraf has been using violent tribes or tribal terrorists of remote western Pakistan against themselves, for so called 'elimination'. Musharraf has been showing to United States as well as Pakistani people that he is the guy who fights terrorists, on the other hand he with his bloody secret agencies has been kidnapping innocent people (mostly pious Muslims) to hand over to United States as 'suspects of terrorism' since 2001. Its very much possible to find some of 'untraced' missing people inside CIA prison at Guantanamo Bay, very much possible.

Really, Musharraf played hell with Pakistani people and to the time I am writing, Musharraf keeps playing.

Where is Dhiman Chand Malik?

A very hot news throughout the defence world for months was the RAW executive alleged to be Bangladeshi espionage. Alleged DGFI agent Dhiman Chand Malik, who was an Assistant Director & posted in Prime Minister's Office in New Delhi to the day of his disappearance, has been hunted by RAW very badly. But the question is that where is he?

RAW masterminds claim Malik is somewhere in Bangladesh, Indian media suspects Malik to be in United States. But still there is no sign of assurance from neither RAW nor DGFI that where is Malik really.

Dhiman Chand Malik, a DGFI agent who has been working in RAW for 7 years as a Bengali speaking Indian Hindu, has been camouflaging his identity to the time his wife suspected him to be a Bangldeshi & let RAW authority know about it. Malik submitted all fake certificates of citizenship, other personal & academic records for official proceedings. He was promoted to Assistant Director & was given the charge of supervision of Prime Minister's office in New Delhi. After getting detected, Malik has disappeared to unknown place most likely in United States.

Kafrul Police at High Alert?

Its felt since numerous mugging incidents have taken place, Kafrul Police Station of DMP has been kept in high alert. Their actions & raids have kept them on the top of the chart than other Police Stations in Dhaka. In last four days Kafrul Police Station has approximately done as follows:

has arrested 12 alleged muggers. Three of them have been held prime suspect of the murder case of NSI detective Sheikh Atiar Rahman. (July 21)
has arrested 3 drug dealers with drugs. (July 21)
has seized 3 taxi cabs alleged to be used in hijack operations. (July 22)
has seized 300 rounds of bullets (235 .9mm bullets & 65 .38 caliber bullets) from old DOHS. (July 23)
has raided in BRTA office & arrested four fraud operators. (July 23)
have proceeded for the charge sheet of 3 members of "Malam Party". (July 23)

Note that, due to the charge sheet has been submitted by Kafrul Police, four members of "Agyan Party" have been charged & sentenced 4 years prison each . Kafrul Police Station, bravo !

NSI Detective Murdered :: Progress of Investigation

DMP, RAB Deducting the Mystery

Investigation of NSI Deputy Assistant Director Sheikh Atiar Rahman murder has seen some progress as Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have almost crashed into the night-crime rackets of the capital known as "Malam Party", "Morich Party" etc. 12 on record muggers have been arrested to the time as prime group of suspects. Last night RAB-1 got tipped & raided into a residential block of Uttara to arrest mastermind of a mugging racket called Selim. According to Selim, RAB-1 raided few spots at Ibrahimpur & Aminbazar and arrested 8 muggers who have been working undercover of different professions especially CNG/Cab drivers. Kafrul Police has arrested other 3 muggers from Kafrul and two of them have been approved to take in remand by the CMM court. According to a sub-inspector Kafrul Police Station Abdul Hakim, police has found and seized 2 cabs, a private car, tear ointments, poisonous tablets etc. with these of suspects. All of these stuffs are supposed to be used in mugging operations, which led helpless passers-by or, cab passengers to lose all belongings or sometimes led to death as suspiciously detective Atiar has been.

Has Atiar's Son Been Threatened or Something?

Investigators of Joint Forces have faced some discrepancy as on the first day, Atiar's family claimed that this murder is probably done by "Sharbohara" terrorists, but this night the only son of the detective named Mamun Ferdous, a textile engineer has been found to claim that his father has been murdered by city muggers. This is not cleared to be sure about, "Sharbohara" terrorists were not involved. At least it needs to be found that why Atiar's family has changed their claim about the murderers or attackers of Atiar? Why they no more want to emphasise on investigations relating "sharbohara"s? Are they threatened?

Aftermath So Far

According to intelligence reports, DMP and RAB specially RAB-1 has really earned progress on the murder case of NSI detective Sheikh Atiar Rahman. At least the term of identifying murderers is about to be done very soon. The murder case of the NSI detective Sheikh Atiar Rahman should be solved as soon as possible. Terrorists should get the message that the aftermath of murder of a federal intelligence officer is really dangerous & fatal.

NSI Officer Killed in Dhaka

Sheikh Atiar Rahman, who was Deputy Assistant Director of National Security Intelligence (NSI) has been killed by unidentified terrorists in Dhaka. Atiar was posted in NSI District HQ in Kushtia. Sheikh Atiar left Kushtia for home on Thursday by a Hanif Paribahan bus and made a phone call at 7:45PM at home that he is taking a CNG auto-rickshaw & expects to reach home in half an hour. That was the last time anybody contacted this detective. Hours passed, Atiar's family got no sign of Atiar & not even a call. They tried Atiar at phone & failed. Later they informed Shabuzbag Police Station about the tensed situation about the NSI detective.

At 9:30PM, a sub-inspector of Kafrul Police Station Motiur Rahman got tipped that an unconscious body has been laid down in front of the NAM residential quarters at Mirpur 13. SI Motiur rushed into the spot immediately & took the body to Mirpur Heart Foundation and learnt from the duty doctor that the man he found is dead. Then Shabuzbag & Kafrul Police Station collaborated and let Atiar's family know that a anonymous body has been found. Later Atiar's family identified the body of NSI Deputy Assistant Director Sheikh Atiar Rahman.

Short Profile of Detective Sheikh Atiar Rahman

Sheikh Atiar Rahman was born in Tungipara of Gopalganj in 1952. Atiar took active part in the Liberation War in 1971. He joined National Security Intelligence in 1974 as a field officer. Atiar, who was supposed to go through his retirement in 2008, has accomplished several classified assignments in the Sylhet & Chittagong Division. In 1996 he was attacked by terrorists & got injured severely but survived, while his posting was in Chittagong. Recently he had been given the charge of NSI district HQ in Kushtia. Aged 55, NSI detective Sheikh Atiar Rahman was promoted to Deputy Assistant Director gradually. Atiar's family claims as recently Atiar was in an assignment on "Sharbohara" extremists, its possibly "sharbohara"s who murdered this NSI detective.

Director Genral National Security Intelligence Major General Taj-ul-Islam with other NSI executives have visited dtective's family. The Namaj-e-Janaza of the detective has held at NSI Headquarters at Shegunbagicha, Dhaka.

Possibilities

Its still not known that who has killed this federal detective & why. Dhaka Metropolitan Police has raided several related spots but got nothing to the time I am writtting this. Metropolitan investigators are being led by two possibilities

it can be a revenge by any terrorists who has been once pursued by Atiar,
or, it can an incident like Atiar explored some serious information & has been cleared out before disclosing infront of NSI executives,
or, it can be a simple mugging case where Atiar has been killed intensionally or may be unintensionally by "Aggyan Party" or, "Molom Party" who have been very active in the capital for months.

Death of SSG Mentor in Operation Silence

Lt.Col. Haroon-ul-Islam

Lieutenant Cornel Haroon-ul-Islam, who was a mentor of existing SSG members, has been killed in the Operation Silence at Lal Masjid on 11 July. Lt.Col. Haroon was a famous commando of Special Services Group (SSG) .During the operation, Haroon was installing explosives in one of Lal Masjid's boundary wall. In the meantime Haroon with one of his commandos, was detected and both of them got sprayed by bullets by that militant. That militant was shot too after other commandos opened fire. 11 SSG coomandos & 3 rangers have been killed in this operation and other 33 commandos & 11 soldiers have been injured.

Some military specialists have put comments that this Operation Silence may effect Pakistan's regime as Indian Army's Operation Blue Star did. But the thing is, Operation Blue star had other ways by which the situation could be handled bloodlessly. But Operation Silence is highly & logically justified because this is quite unacceptable that an urban block would be sieged by armed militants for days. Operation Silence was an ultimate succes. This has no room for being compared as a 'hackle' on regime as Operation Blue Star.

Noatbly, Opeartion Blue Star took place on 3 June, 1984 in Golden Temple at Amritsar, Punjab containg a lot of civilian casualties and later resulted with the assassination of Indian Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi on 31 October of that very year. Mrs. Indira Gandhi ordered Operation Blue Star to siege against Punjabi militant mastermind Harmander Sahib & this operation took place in an area fully loaded by a lot of civilians & pilgrims. Army Chief of Staff A.S. Vaidya encouraged this operation ignoring protests of military experts. This operation was not even confirmed as 'good to go' by RAW & other Indian intelligences. Later in 1986, A.S. Vaidya was also assassinated by militants.

Indian Commando Training Lasts for Only 39 Days?

Its really very strange that Indian Commando's training is scheduled only for 39 days. With the touch of two field instructors (a major & a captain), they get training in the remote areas of south-east India, includes with physical tactics, remote navigation, guerilla warfare etc. I don't know that which kind of formula they apply but possibly there is no sort of formula which can build a commando in only 39 days!

Many defence forums put comment that this is why Indian commandos constantly get hackled while countering separatists in many parts of India. Any special ops against separatists or mujahidins always contain with a large Indian Army jawans' death tole. Most of their commando training snapshots looks like a circus group is getting trained wearing military uniforms. Its very depressing & pathetic that an army like Indian Army, which constantly faces a bunch of hazards & combats in multiple areas of the country, is training its commandos in a goddamned hurry. But why...?

During the training, Indian Commandos are also seen to be anxious after thinking that Pakistani Commandos will be laughing if they see Indians to get training this way.
Notably, an Indian Commando hero of Siachen glacier takeover [Operation Meghdoot], Naib Subedar Chunni Lal has been killed during countering an unknown mujahideen group in North Kashmir.

Hasina : Caught for Verification?

There are enough reasons to believe that the former PM & the president of Bangladesh Awami League has been arrested for some verifications. After the interrogation of several Awami League leaders & members of Sheikh Hasina's inner circle, some intelligence agencies of Bangladesh government feel that few things need to be cleared.

Especially after the interrogation of Sheikh Hasina's cousine, Awami League's presidium member Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim & party's general secretary Abdul Jalil, the Task Forces Intelligence (TFI) has come to a position where some confusions can only be answered after the interrogation of Sheikh Hasina. Both of Abdul Jalil & Selim said that most of the financial issues (legal or illegal) of the party were directly handled by Sheikh Hasina. They also told that Sheikh Hasina has a speical inner circle which includes with Hasina's another cousine Sheikh Helal, BEXIMCO's Salman F. Rahman & some other leaders.

Notably, Salman F. Rahman has been arrested during the arrest crackdown in early March & Sheikh Helal is fugitive like many other Awami League leaders since this caretaker government has taken over in January 11, 2007.

Big Bird in The Cage

A most common message which is sent to the headquarters after arresting any big shot, "big bird in the cage".

Finally Sheikh Hasina has been arrested from her husband Shudha Mia's residence at Dhanmnondi called "Shudha Shadan". Most probably there were four FIRs which could have Sheikh Hasina inside the jail, but this morning she has been taken to the CMM court because of an FIR at Tejgaon Police Station filed last month. Her lawyers Barrister Amirul Islam & Advocate Sahara Khatun have been rejected by the court while they appealed a bail for Sheikh Hasina.

Sheikh Hasina has been taken to a newly formed sub-jail inside the Parliament House Complex. Notably, this building was constructed in 2003-04 to be alloted as the governmential residence of the Deputy Speaker of the House.

Sheikh Hasina's supporters, Awami League workers & pro Awami League lawyers have shown their anger in front of the court building. 14 RAB & Police jeeps made convoy with Sheikh Hasina's NISSAN Patrol to the court. The total matter was highly cordoned by thousands of Police & RAB personnels. Awami League's student wing Bangladesh Chhatro League is passing restless time by showing anger inside Dhaka University.
